Visit of the chapel of Saint Thomas Aquinas
This year, during the European Heritage Days, «UCO opens its reserves», the opportunity to discover the Saint-Thomas d'Aquin chapel! Built at the end of the 19th century for the Dominican convent, it is a replica of the old Toussaint abbey and has interesting stained glass windows from the 1930s, as well as a beautiful organ. Closed for more than 20 years, renovated and reopened in 2011, the chapel is a place of religious ceremonies and cultural events. Tours are free of charge, subject to availability. Reception takes place in the lobby of the Jeanneteau building (entrance via 6 rue Merlet de la Boulaye)
Also to be discovered in the reception hall, animation by the students of the ANaturAE association around Robert Corillion, professor who marked the teaching of botany at the UCO in the twentieth century.
