In 2023, the purchase of the Saint-Luc church by the City of Nantes gave new insight into the spatial qualities and the constructive ingenuity of a building at the opposite ends of the monumental church. Imagined as early as 1967 how a flexible place according to the cult or secular activities it houses, the upcoming transformation of the church into equipment meets the first ambition of its designers in 1967: make it an open place and closer to the social life of the Breil district. On the occasion of the Heritage Days, the Ardepa and the City of Nantes open the doors of a remarkable witness to the renewal of religious architecture of the 1960s!
