Cappella Britannica ensemble public rehearsal

For the 2023-24 season, Cappella Britannica explores the repertoire of French composers such as Francis Poulenc and Jehan Alain, with Gabriel Fauré’s famous Requiem as the highlight. Anchored in the Nantes region, the ensemble, composed of about fifteen singers, has a high musical demand, and a wide distribution that is accessible to all. It is in this spirit that Cappella Britannica intervenes at the Passage Sainte Croix for a rehearsal open to the public. The Cappella Britannica ensemble was created in 2016 by its chef Lionel Bourguignon, eager to explore a cappella works from the Renaissance to the 21st century.
