Access to the classified gate of the Château de la Sauvagère was prevented in 2010 by a rude neighbor.
The court having recognized the existence of an easement of passage all uses on the 250 meters of the way of Hommeau/ La Sauvagère, we open again and exceptionally this monument registered in the directory of historical monuments to access the castle on Saturday and Sunday afternoon of 16 and 17September 2023.
The state of the road is still degraded about 100 meters by the neighbor recalling this decision of justice, we recommend leaving the cars along the communal path of the farm of L'Hommeau located on the right before the big bends about one kilometer before the entrance of the village of Chemiré-le-Gaudin coming from Le Mans by the D 309 and then finishing on foot; unless you have a 4X4 or a Jeep off-road to come by car to the entrance gate.
