Built at the beginning of the 19th century, the lime kilns of the Veurière ('Sainte-Anne' kilns) have been exploited for a hundred years, until the eve of World War I. The monumental complex was completely restored after its protection under the title of Historical Monuments in 1980. It has three large ovens of 12 meters high and with a diameter of more than 5 meters that occupy the entire height of the vast building that rises to 15 meters from the ground and extends with its ramp of access over 150 meters of length. The built massif is granite and red schist, with many buttresses. The bays are semi-circular. The complex also includes adjoining buildings and shed of work as well as the cottages arranged on the first floor of the two large central arches and finally, the main house recently restored with Heritage Foundation label. The guided tour includes the complete discovery of these buildings, access to the upper terrace by the ramp or staircase) and the limestone quarry-marble. A video report completes the presentation of the cottage activity. Possibility of free visit of the chapel St Joseph and the ovens St Pierre (registered ISMH in 2006) 800 m away by the hiking trail along the 3 large old quarries now flooded (beautiful bodies of water).
