It leads to discover the history of the connections of the territories of the West of France with the Americas, Africa and Asia in a globalized and interconnected history since the 17th century. Based on original texts, iconography and illustrations, the exhibition is designed to satisfy the curiosity of all audiences, enhance local heritage, intangible and material heritage and botanical knowledge. With simple and concrete examples, the exhibition aims to question and question visitors on the process of globalization that we all know through the familiar fibre of cotton that has revolutionized our consumption and production methods.From 16 September to 12 November 2023 in the gardens of the Grand Blottereau.
