Lake Maine is a natural area on the outskirts of the town of Angers, which covers 220 hectares. It is a real leisure area where you can swim, sail, stroll, play sports and observe nature. Open to the public since 1978, the agglomeration of Angers Loire Métropole has recently undertaken a requalification of the site’s public facilities as well as a renovation of an offer adapted to new practices, all with the utmost respect for the environment.

Acceso
By car: from Paris, take exit 15 Angers-Centre, then exit Lac de Maine-Centre commercial. Follow the signs Parc de Loisirs du Lac de Maine. From Nantes, take exit #18 Angers-Centre, then exit Lac de Maine-Centre commercial. Follow the signs Parc de Loisirs du Lac de Maine. On foot or by bike: from the station of Angers, go down the boulevard du Roi René, take the bridge of Basse Chaîne, then left, along the Maine and the Balzac park. By bus: from Angers station, take bus no. 6 (stop Lac de Maine Nautique) or no. 11 (stop Pérussaie). Line 1S in the evening, line 1Ddimanche and public holidays.
