Biosphera is a place of information and awareness for an understanding of the relationship between man and nature, in the Cevennes valleys. It is also a museum space, temporary exhibitions, conference room and projection.
In 2019, the existing partnership with the Cévennes National Park was strengthened, Biosphera became the Maison de la réserve de biosphère des Cévennes, the first house of its kind in France. As such, Biosphera has become the venue for promoting the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) of UNESCO, and hosts delegations of international biosphere reserves.
