Inaugurated in 2002 next to the bullfighting arenas(bullrings), the museum of culture is the first bullfighting museum of France. Real shop window(showcase) of the memory of local traditions, worth knowing(namely) tauromachy and from the Camargue running(race), museum shelters from numerous objects of any geographical origins (Europe, Asia, America) which illustrate the bull under all his facets. He(It) presents an unique(only) and important fund(collection) in France, value of which is scientific, historic, artistic and ethnographic at once, of about 30 000 rooms(parts,plays) by the grouping of four collections: the bullfighting collections of the Museum of Old Nîmes, those of Henriette and Claude Viallat, those of the association of the friends of the Museum of bullfighting Cultures and finally those of the fund(collection) Pierre Dupuy.
