The Maison du Patrimoine invites you to discover Argentat via a theatrical visit: «Argentat, a whole story!». You will walk through the old town accompanied by an actress. The pass will be provided by an old player. The tour ends with songs in the Oc language of the Gojat del Porti men’s vocal ensemble.

The Heritage House presents the local history, from protohistory to the 20th century, highlighting the role of roads and the Dordogne as axes of life.
You will discover thematic panels and showcases presenting the archaeological wealth discovered on the sites of the Puy du Tour and the Villa du Longour, medieval furniture, coins...
A documentary film presents the history of the boating industry and the techniques of construction of the courpet (jig: traditional flat-bottomed boat).
The museum space also benefits from a temporary exhibition gallery hosting on average four different exhibitions during the season. Art and heritage are in the spotlight and complete the visit of the permanent exhibition.
