On Saturday from 10am, enjoy a presentation of the craft of master glassmaker. As part of the exhibition «Les Ostensibles», the tourist office of Magnac-Bourg welcomes the stained glass artist Julien Valageas. Discover an ancestral know-how through the presentation of the different stages of restoration of ancient stained glass.
From 2pm to 5pm, you can visit the exhibition «Un verrier dans le noir», in the presence of the artist. Art craftsman, restorer of old stained glass windows and visual artist, Julien Valageas tells you how the unexpected acquisition of a ton of black glass and other hazards of life will have unsuspected repercussions in his artistic career.
This event is part of the course «Les Ostensibles»: a multi-site exhibition to be found at the tourist office Briance Sud Haute-Vienne, at the museum and gardens Cécile Sabourdy and at the house of Père Castor in Meuzac, until September 30, 2023.
