The gold rush near you! The Maison de l'Or in Limousin invites you to dive into an epic of 2500 years of gold discovery in the region. In the «Gallic discovery» corner you will observe the grinding of the ore on Gallic grinding tables. Children will participate in the game of the Little Gaul, a fun way to share the visit. On arrival, a surprise gift! You can then introduce yourself to the Gallic coinage with your family (1€).

The Maison de l'or accessible for all offers mediation tools and adapted guided tours: presentation film in sign language (LSF), magnetic loops for the guided tour, visit booklets in Braille and FALC, relief boards and contrasting colors, visit in audio-description, guided tour adapted for blind people and people with mental disabilities.
You can then discover the medieval village of Chalard, its church and cemetery monks or picnic by the river. A beautiful day in nature!
