Église Saint-Michel

Church of the fourteenth century presenting a set of wall paintings of the fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. It is composed of a nave of three spans, a polygonal choir, crossed warheads with chamfered profiles (except plaster cradle in the first west span). The crossing of the nave vaults is ensured essentially by an internal buttress on which fall the arches of a deep niche constituting lateral chapel. The walls of the nave could be earlier than the sixteenth century, at least in some of their parts. On the outside, the roof shows the elevation of the choir by a roof arrangement in a steeply sloped pavilion. The west entrance door in a pointed arch is surmounted by a Chrism engraved in a square where the words Rex, Lux and Lex intertwine with the usual symbols. In the choir, Régence woodwork frames the entire high altar. The entire wall is covered with paintings. A large composition represents Paradise, Purgatory and Hell.
