The excavations carried out in Mimizan in 2022 were carried out by the archaeological study office ÉVEHA under the responsibility of Claire Pesenti as part of the development project and a adapted services residence (Les jardins de Maylis).
Near the Priory Church of Santa Maria, archaeological investigations have uncovered remains from antiquity to the present day. The furniture studies as well as the data collected are currently ongoing and will be shared.
