Discover the site of Clichy du Technicentre des Lignes Normandes, this train maintenance center, usually inaccessible to the public, where trains providing rail connections between Paris Saint-Lazare and Normandy are repaired, maintained and cleaned. You will visit maintenance workshops, old equipment (17016 and postal cars of the AAPSL Association) and very recent trainsets (OMNEO). You can discover the new workshop commissioned in May 2022, alongside the old facilities. You will discover the unknown industrial world of maintenance, preventive and curative, railway equipment, as well as the various professions. The visit allows us to better understand all the operations necessary to allow trains to run safely (maintenance of brakes, axles etc) and with the essential comfort (air conditioning/heating, water, cleaning etc). The cohabitation of a historical workshop and a workshop just one year old, and that of old equipment with the new OMNEO train sets, will show that the heritage is constantly evolving.
