Ace of the First World War with 43 certified victories, military among the most decorated of the French army in the twentieth century then star of the aviation cinema and pilot emeritus in the interwar: discover the incredible lives of Charles Nungesser, disappeared alongside François Coli in May 1927, aboard the legendary Oiseau Blanc, during the first attempt to cross the North Atlantic Ocean non-stop.

Inaugurated at Le Bourget in 1975, the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace de Paris-Le Bourget is one of the world’s first aeronautical museums because of its age and the wealth of its collections. These collections are exhibited in the terminal, designed by architect Georges Labro, inaugurated in 1937 and listed in the Inventory of Historic Monuments.
