Visit of the Priory of Saint-Joseph
The Monastery of Saint Joseph is the mother house of the Benedictines of Jesus Crucified. They follow the Rule of Saint Benedict, with some adaptations, because their particularity is to open the Benedictine life to sisters affected in their physical health (after-effects of illness, disability). At the priory, you will have the pleasure of discovering the circular church. Be careful to respect the office of the Sunday Mass of 11h and the services of 15h and 15h45. The sisters will make you discover the good monastic products, coming from all the monasteries of France. (Honey, Alexion d'Aiguebelle, lime teas, mint, soaps, cards, etc.). These products are on sale. Opposite the church, you will also have the opportunity to discover the cooler of the castle of Brou which dates from the late seventeenth century as the castle and was built by the owners of the castle of Brou sur Chantereine.
