In 1934, Cardinal Verdier laid the first stone of this church, the sixty-fourth work of the cardinal’s Chantiers.
The construction was entrusted to the architect Nasousky, to whom we owe the church of Saint-Joseph-des-Quatre-Routes in 1911.
The church of Perpetual Help was not completed at its inauguration in 1936 and is still waiting for its definitive bell tower.
