The INSEE tripod is the work of architects Serge Lana and Denis Honneger. Built in 1974, the tower is a brutalist icon of the second half of the 20th century. The tripod is of an implacable triangular geometry (central core, stairs at the ends of the wings, ...), its structure in column concrete beam is particularly adaptable. The tower is the subject of a great mobilization supported by the National Order of Architects, fighting against the project that provides for its demolition.
