On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Cernuschi Museum highlights the monumental sculpture of carved dragons, back in the permanent path of collections after restoration.
This Japanese architectural element featured prominently in the living Buddha room of Cernuschi, the original collector of the museum. Deposited in the 1930s, it has never been fully exhibited for several decades. After several months of closure, the Buddha Room once again welcomes this spectacular work to its original location in the heart of the museum.
