Open doors of the Craft Village

The idea of an artisanal village was born in 1999. The objective was to maintain local crafts by attracting, in a single place, independent professionals. On 1 February 2000, a partnership agreement was signed between the city of Bourg-la-Reine and the Hauts-de-Seine Chamber of Trades. On a plot of 2000 m², the works are launched a few years later alongside a millstone building, former dispensary.

Inaugurated in April 2006, the craft village is composed of 15 workshops of about 50 m² including a workshop space, an office and sanitary facilities. Each lot can be converted by its occupant according to its needs The Village now hosts a wide variety of professions and know-how.
