The «Cour du Soleil» is a property, owned by the City of Carrières-sur-Seine (Yvelines). Located in the entrance of an old quarry, its evolutions make it a magnificent and remarkable place. This complex is an important green space in the historic center of the town. The site is accessible by the Allée du Pressoir, private road of 3 to 5 m wide, lined with troglodyte houses. The Cour du Soleil is open for the European Heritage Days (JEP). You enter through a custom-made barred portal, passing under an arch of stones. This courtyard represents only one-sixth of the surface of the plot. It is the richest part from a heritage perspective.
