The Société Historique et Archéologique de Sucy-en-Brie is presenting its annual exhibition at the Orangerie du Château de Sucy with the theme: «Montaleau Castle, from yesterday to today». The exhibition will present the major moments of the history of the castle and its park, from the freeway of the Tower inherited from the Middle Ages to the devolution of the building to the Ministry of Justice, through the creation of the castle by Philippe de Coulanges (circa 1621), the youth of Madame de Sévigné, the various owners of modern and contemporary times, the acquisition by the City in 1937, the establishment of the Town Hall then the Conservatory and finally the Court of Proximity.
