Lively, picturesque and above all timeless, the Place de la Libération delivers centuries of history(s). From the 18th century to the present day, this public square at the crossroads of the streets of the historic center of the city is an essential meeting place, the theater of encounters. From a tithe barn to a town hall-school, then a market place, the use of the square has evolved over time, until its recent transformation into a public garden.
