Discover the historical heritage of the visually impaired
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2023, the Collectif Braille is Back, composed of the National Institute of Young Blind (INJA-Louis Braille), associations accompany, promote, integrate the visually impaired (apiDV) ; Valentin Haüy; Voir Ensemble et la Fédération des Aveugles et Amblyopes de France, welcomes you on Saturday 16 September from 10am to 6pm at 56 boulevard des Invalides, Paris 7th.
Come and discover the historical heritage of the visual impairment as well as the know-how and skills of each association for the visually impaired in a building dating from 1843, classified as historical monuments, with a beautiful concert hall and a sensory garden. Heritage tours will be offered in this place where the memory of Louis Braille lives.
In free circuit and by registration via this form, we will offer different workshops (braille, adapted sport, tactile model of the monuments of Paris, bandeau movements and many other workshops, etc.).
You can also attend all day long concerts (jazz, varieties...).
This day will be organized with our associative and cultural partners.
