The church of Neuvizy is a place of pilgrimage dedicated to Mary. In 1752, eight children going to catechism in the nearby village, discovered on the first branches of a large oak tree a very small statuette of the Virgin Mary that shone in a soft light. Following this event, Neuvizy became a place of pilgrimage. In 1865, Father Valentin embarked on the construction of a new church and the major work will be completed practically in 1867\. Today the Church of Our Lady of Good Help of Neuvizy has become a place of resource, of prayer, of recollection.
