The exhibition "Treasures of the Celestial Annunciations - Fourth centenary of the installation of the nuns in Langres, 1623-2023" retraces the spirituality of the Order, the historical context of the foundation of the convent, the life of the foundress, between legend and reality. Many devotional objects are exhibited: paintings, statues, reliquaries... The life at the monastery is detailed, between moments of prayer and meditation and moments of work (embroidery, tapestry, making reliquaries with rolled paper...).

The nuns of the Celestial Annunciations settled in Langres in 1623 and remained until 1984\. The convent was built at the beginning of the eighteenth century: it exudes a «strong impression of balance and harmony; everything says here the austerity of life and the erasure» (G. Viard 1990).
Built in 1684 by architect C.A. Allier and contractor N. Clerc, as indicated by the date on the front cartouche, the chapel is now occupied by the Museum of Sacred Art.
