Émilie Cunin, soprano and Yann Péran at the lute propose a program of English and French music of the Renaissance, the occasion notably to discover works of John Dowland. These musical interludes transport us for a few moments in the Renaissance in the intimate and cozy atmosphere of this very beautiful private mansion.
After obtaining a DEM of percussion at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental de Troyes, Émilie Cunin obtained her prize of horn at the Conservatoire de Gennevilliers, then she obtained a state diploma of horn teacher, and a DEUG of musicology at the Pôle Supérieur Musical de Bourgogne in 2015.
She currently teaches at the Chaumont and Romilly-sur-Seine Conservatories. She studied singing in particular with Michèle Ledroit and particularly loves baroque and 20th century repertoires.
For these musical moments, Emilie Cunin is accompanied by lutenist Yan Péran.
In 2000, Yann Péran won the first prize for classical guitar from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in the class of Alberto Ponce.
After winning several international prizes, he decided to extend his practice to the theorbo and then to the lute. Since then, he has nurtured his artistic approach by constantly going back and forth between ancient instruments and the guitar, performing in recitals on several instruments, as well as in various chamber and early music ensembles.
His interest in contemporary creation led him to work with many composers of his generation. Holder of the Certificate of Aptitude, Yann Péran teaches at the Auxerre Conservatory.
