From Mickey to Spirou via Maus or Magneto, discover the historical and artistic journey at the heart of the 9th art by questioning the visual sources of these representations, their relevance, their scope and their limits. How the Holocaust was mobilized by fiction, whether in comics or in the Franco-Belgian comic strip with The Beast is dead! of Calvo, where the theme is present since 1944. More than 75 years later, lines of force, almost a grammar, emerge from these narratives and representations which this exhibition will try, for the first time, to draw up an inventory.
