The Maison de l'Architecture Centre-Val de Loire invites you to discover the exhibition «Hommage à Christian Gimonet» through a guided tour led by Elke Mittmann, architectural historian and Director of the Maison de l'Architecture Centre-Val de Loire.
This exhibition presents a tribute to the work of the Berruyer architect Christian Gimonet, who died on January 11, 2023 at the age of 87. It is based on a first monographic exhibition that the Maison de l'Architecture Centre-Val de Loire, in partnership with Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Art de Bourges, dedicated to the work of the architect Christian Gimonet in 2012.
The exhibition shows the great panorama of his work that spans more than forty years of architectural productivity, both theoretical and practical which is also distinguished by a great conceptual and typological diversity.
The guided tour will accompany you to discover this exhibition, which shows through drawings, plans, photos and models, the main principles of the work of the architect Christian Gimonet and his projects and achievements until today.
