In Neuvy-deux-Clochers, near the Borne, a potters village since the 15th century, not far from Sancerre and Menetou-Salon, is the Cathedral of Jean Linard. Artist, potter, sculptor, engraver, painter and builder, Jean Linard was born in 1931, studied engraving in Paris at the Estienne school and then returned to his region of origin. Together with ceramist Anne Kjaersgaard, he established himself as a potter at La Borne in 1959\. Then he bought this land in 1961, an old flint quarry and built the residential buildings on the model of a Danish farm, then the workshops. He will develop his house until the end of the 70s. At the beginning of the 80s, he began his work: the construction of his Cathedral in a resolutely ecumenical spirit. You are welcomed by Jesus. You will see further Joseph, Mary.
