The church of Sainte-Radegonde was built on the hillside in two periods, in the twelfth and sixteenth centuries, on the site of a chapel built in the tenth century. A 3rd century crypt dug into the rock opens onto the nave of the church. Saint Gatien is said to have celebrated the first masses there in Touraine. A stoup dating from 1522, comes from the Abbey of Marmoutier.
