Exceptional tours of our spaces during the assembly will be offered throughout the weekend. This September, Les Tanneries is doing «new things» and the whole team is working hard to prepare the next exhibition.
On the occasion of Heritage Days 2023, immerse yourself in the history of the Tanneries and explore this former abandoned factory, now rehabilitated as an artistic production platform. This visit will be an opportunity to discover the other side of the creation decor through the installation of the inaugural exhibition of the eighth artistic season, which will open on October 28!

Contemporary Arts Centre installed(settled) in a rehabilitated industrial site. Built in 1947 on the territory of the municipality of Amilly, tanneries were active till the end of 1960s. The city of Amilly acquired(bought back) the uncultivated(neglected) site in 2002, first stage of the opening of a place devoted to the contemporary creation artistic project of which rests(bases) on the promotion(valuation) of the gesture(movement).
