The "Small Castle" knew numerous owners. It is for a long time a "villa", belonging in inhabitants of Orléans and of Parisians. In February, 1802, settles down there Louis-Madeleine Ripault, particular(special) librarian of the first one consul Bonaparte. In 1853, it becomes Notre-Dame-de-la-Solitude, a rest home was held by nuns. The city purchases there in 1996 to make its Town hall.
