Armand-Thomas Hue de Miromesnil, Keeper of the Seals of Louis XVI from 1774 to 1787, was born at the castle of Latingy on September 15, 1723. An exhibition is organized in the dovecote of Latingy, the only local building still in place that Miromesnil knew.
From archival documents, mainly from Orléans, the exhibition attempts to trace some aspects of the life and career of this great servant of the State with a complex personality. A little forgotten by historians, despite the metro station in his name, the character, classified among the "illustrious" of Loiret, deserves to be rediscovered.
It is also an opportunity to visit the dovecote rarely open to the public.
