Surrounded by woods and pastures, the Priory of Lavaray is located north of Tours. Founded in 1110 by the Abbey of Marmoutier, the priory includes a fortified tower, a fuye and a magnificent tithe barn classified as historical monuments, little sister of the Meslay barn.
