These Magical encounters, in the setting of the marshes, invite you to a stroll through time through tales and legends of the Berry, for a (re)discovery of this oral heritage then written.
The tales will be narrated in cycles of two hours but the public will be able to graft every half hour to the current visit.

The marshy grounds which surrounded Bourges have assured(insured) for a long time the defence of the city. In the XVIIth century, the Jesuits buy a part(party) of these "marshes" and rent(praise) them to individuals who transform them into cultivable plots of land. With Revolution and sale of the national property(goods), this bringing under cultivation intensifies: the truck farmers or "Maretiers" feed the city with fruits and vegetables during the three centuries. In the middle of the XXth century, with the change of modes(fashions) of production and of distribution(casting), profession declines to disappear in 1970s. Today exploited(run) in family gardens, 135 hectares of marshes of Yèvre and of Voiselle were listed(classified) in 2003 on the list of the Natural Monuments and of Sites.
