The church dedicated to Saint Germain, is the oldest monument of Boësses. Built in the 11th century, it has undergone many remodeling. It is 37 meters long and 16,50 meters wide. The large nave is 9 meters high and the side naves 7,65 meters.
It is its porch that brings it its fame, it occupies all the width of the west gable of the church of which it shelters the large entrance door. It looks like a cloister with three semicircular doors. Eleven arcades, six on the left and five on the right, all the columns and capitals are different in shape and the sculptures that decorate them. The portal is Romanesque in style.
Its bell tower was rebuilt in the early 19th century. It consists of a square stone tower, surmounted by a slate-covered belfry and supporting an octagonal bell tower with a start of rotation (a sixteenth turn from left to right) which makes it fit into the category of «belfrs tors» The installation of the current bells dates from 1882\.
