The Farnault house, which became the Sancerre house, is a house from the late Middle Ages (probably the middle of the 15th century). Largely transformed and mutilated over time, it was restored in the early 2000s by the winemakers of the Sancerre appellation to become a center of interpretation of the wines of the appellation.
