Ouagne, a charming little village of 150 inhabitants, has one of the most remarkable churches of Nièvre by its vaults and pillars. It belonged to the former diocese and archpriest of Auxerre. Dedicated to Saint Gervais and Saint Protais and dating from the early sixteenth century, it is a building in flamboyant style, except the bell tower which dates from the late eighteenth, simple square tower. It has been included in the supplementary inventory of Historical Monuments since 1971.
