Since August 2006, volunteers have gathered each year around professionals for the restoration and maintenance of this library, rich in 35,000 books, reserved for teachers of the major seminary of Viviers. The project involved several phases:

• in 2006 and 2007, sorting in books added to the library since the 1930s.
• from 2008, collation of all books to create a digital catalogue accessible to all.
• since 2009, book maintenance workshop.
  All these actions made it possible to better understand the organization of this library of Sulpician seminary but also to make it accessible to university researchers in religious sciences. The catalogue already includes nearly 20,000 books available online at bibliotheque.ardeche-This library lives only thanks to the work of the volunteers who come to dedicate each year a week of August to the valorization of this Vivarois heritage and support of the diocese. And these volunteers can only work because donations fund the equipment and needs of the site. On the other hand, these gifts, your gifts allowed the restoration of 3 quality books, in particular the first two volumes of the polyglot bible of Walton.
