The Hospice Sainte-Madeleine, installed in the suburbs of the city of Bourg in 1826 to receive 150 sick, had a first chapel in 1828, replaced by the one blessed by Bishop Devie in 1839\. It was not until 1933 that Mother Ambrose gave permission to build the present chapel, which is more beautiful and larger, integrated into the buildings of their community.
