As in the past, on foot*, we take the path of the chapel of Puy Saint-Mary, perched on the heights of the city as on the occasion of pilgrimages or fairs. A walk with history, anecdotes… On our arrival «Le baladin» Lino Di Giorgio Jr, teacher at the Ecole de danse du Pays de Mauriac will be waiting for us for a danced interlude on the forecourt of the chapel (10 mn)

The chapel was built on the foundations of a pilgrimage chapel and then funfair of medieval times dedicated to Saint Mary. Installed on an old volcanic mouth, the chapel hosts every year, since the Middle Ages, a fair in June. The panorama is remarkable, it extends west from the gorges of the Dordogne to the mountains of Corrèze, north to the Sancy massif and east to the puys of the Cantalian volcano (orientation table).
