Created in 1866, by Francique Mandet, the eponymous museum, is installed in two former mansions of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the hotel Dufraisse du Cheix and the hotel Desaix. These two buildings contain approximately 14,000 pieces, paintings, sculptures and works of art from antiquity to the 21st century.
