The Chateau de la Chaux Montgros is located on an exceptional location (west orientation) overlooking the Monts Dore (Puy de Sancy) and the Monts Dôme (Puy de Dôme).

This castle of the 16th century, classified Historical Monument in 2000, is distinguished by its original architecture unique in Auvergne (Medieval on the ground floor and Renaissance on the upper levels).
Today it is owned by the association (ARCM). Selected as part of the Bern Mission, it is currently undergoing major work to fully restore its roof.
