Permanent exhibition - Golden fingers and skilled machines in Ardèche
Adults and children from 8 years
A playful and modern route around the know-how and industrial heritage of the Ardèche. Through tactile, sound and playful experiences, the exhibition reveals a concentration of perseverance and ingenuity in this cradle of innovation and technological progress in Val'Eyrieux.
After being directed towards the water of volcanoes, source of human activity on and under the earth, the visitor goes back in time to the time of the silky and continues his journey in the textile innovation of the twentieth century. At the desk of the learned machines of mechanics, everyone is going to be surprised by so much inventiveness before getting caught up in the games of the tactile tables. On the way to the chestnut, children and parents play and experiment until they become experts in Ardèche productions.
Temporary Exhibition - Cold
Adults and children from 10 years
In the collective imagination, the cold has long been associated with a manifestation of nature that we face during the winter months. It evokes in some a chill, a sensation, a picture, a weather phenomenon or even a taste. But finally what is the cold?
Truly immersed in the world of cold, this exhibition invites us to experience the great thrill and gives us the keys to understand the mechanisms and uses behind this phenone. This is through three different worlds: challenges for life, challenges for society and challenges for science.
