Temporary exhibition: "Des Racines et des Hommes", the forest of the Beaujolais Mountains.
The forest is a strong element of the landscape of the Beaujolais Mountains. It participates in the image of a green territory, where the fir tree is an emblem. However, it is often not known that this is a man-made forest for the purpose of producing wood. The exhibition recalls the origins of this adventure which has redesigned the physiognomy of the Beaujolaise mountain.
It offers an immersion in the forest of the Beaujolais Mountains, to meet those who appropriate it, maintain it, frequent it and even live there.
An educational space allows you to discover the forest differently, through meaning, play, manipulation.
From the travelling exhibition Vert Horizon, the temporary exhibition Des racines et des hommes presents a scenographic version, accessible to all audiences.
