Echoing the label "Terre de Jeux 2024" worn by the City of Firminy, the Site Le Corbusier offers an exhibition around sport, its place and its role in the city of tomorrow. This exhibition, which puts the public in motion, echoes the events of the territory that are the Rugby World Cup and the Olympic Games Paris 2024. In the lower parts of the church Saint-Pierre, come and experience the scenographic devices imagined by the architect agency DREAM and ask you about the future of sport and its spaces. Throughout the weekend, presentations of the exhibition by a mediator.

The site Corbusier, worldwide site of modern architecture
Corbusier, architect of international fame and founder of modern architecture, chose Firminy to conceive(design) his largest architectural set in Europe.
This unique(only) site groups(includes): the Community arts centre, the Stage(Stadium), the church Saint-Peter, the swimming pool and the Unity(Unit) of House (apartment-witness(-baton), nursery school, roof strikes down with its splendid open-air theatre and a fantastic view over vicinity).
Several types of visits - free or guided - give you the keys for reading these Historic monuments. You will discover on one hand the games(sets) of lights, of colours, of volumes and of other part the urbanistic main principles of the famous Charter of Athens.
