Das historische Denkmal, das sich über 10 Hektar erstreckt, trägt acht Jahrhunderte Architektur und Geschichte. Donjon und Wehrgang, auf der schmalen Felsenkrone erbaut, stammen aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Aus dem Vauban-Projekt, das 1692 entworfen wurde, wurde nur das Pulverfass gebaut. Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts wurden an der Nordwand umfangreiche Umbauten vorgenommen. La vista che si gode è sorprendente, per 150 km, offre il più bel punto di vista dell'Alta Provenza. Monumento storico classificato, si estende su 10 ettari, porta otto secoli di architettura e storia. Torrione e cammino di ronda, costruiti sulla stretta spina rocciosa, risalgono al XIII secolo, la pavimentazione di cinte bastionate del XVI sec. Del progetto di Vauban, progettato nel 1692, fu realizzata solo la polveriera. Importanti rimaneggiamenti furono effettuati sulla parete nord a metà del XIX secolo. Fu in questo periodo che fu scavata nella roccia la magnifica scala sotterranea che collegava la fortezza alla città. Profondamente ferita dal bombardamento dell'agosto 1944, la Cittadella è oggi meravigliosamente restaurata e vi invita a visitare.

La vue qu’on y découvre est saisissante, sur 150 km, elle offre le plus beau point de vue de Haute Provence.
Monument historique classé, s’étendant sur 10 hectares, elle porte huit siècles d’architecture et d’histoire. Donjon et chemin de ronde, construits sur l’étroite épine rocheuse, datent du XIIIe siècle, l’étagement d’enceintes bastionnées du XVIe s. Du projet de Vauban, conçu en 1692, seule fut réalisée la poudrière. D’importants remaniements furent opérés sur la face nord au milieu du XIXe s. C’est à cette époque que fut creusé dans le rocher le magnifique escalier souterrain reliant la forteresse à la ville.
Profondément meurtrie par le bombardement d’août 1944, la Citadelle est aujourd’hui admirablement restaurée et vous invite à la visite.

La vista que se descubre es impresionante, sobre 150 km, ofrece el punto de vista más hermoso de Haute Provence. Monumento histórico catalogado, que abarca 10 hectáreas, lleva ocho siglos de arquitectura e historia. Torre del homenaje y camino de ronda, construidos sobre la estrecha espina rocosa, datan del siglo XIII, el escalonamiento de recintos amurallados del XVI s. Del proyecto de Vauban, concebido en 1692, solo se realizó el polvorín. A mediados del siglo XIX se realizaron importantes remodelaciones en la cara norte. En esta época se excavó en la roca la magnífica escalera subterránea que unía la fortaleza con la ciudad. Profundamente herida por el bombardeo de agosto de 1944, la Ciudadela está hoy admirablemente restaurada y le invita a visitarla.
