Re-employment: Sustainable Heritage? , by Benoît MARTIN, in charge of collections at the Calvet Museum The 2022 edition dedicated to Sustainable Heritage has led us to question the notion of reuse in architecture and art, the Lapidaire Museum perfectly illustrating a case of reuse of buildings and proposing, less well-known, re-uses of works. The public can discover in the form of a guided tour, that the building that now houses the archaeological collections of the Calvet Museum is none other than the former chapel of the Jesuit College and that some of the works presented bear visible traces of reuse at different times and for different uses.
